Mission Accomplished

Wow- this day has been everything we hoped for AND MORE! We successfully dropped off 6 pups at Salem Animal Rescue and then the rest of our pasengers to the Nashua shelter. Both shelters had staff and volunteers waiting on us to pull up to welcome us and get the pups out of the van and into loving arms! All of our little passengers were finally out walking and playing in their new state of New Hampshire! Everyone was very happy and excited! And... we had a special treat waiting for us at the Nashua shelter- our new friend Joan (and her sweet pup Ella) came to meet us (and she brought TREATS!!). We cannot wait to tell you all of the details about the entire day (we will gush all of the fun details and pictures once we have more time and rest)! I will just say right now that this has been the best day I've had in a long time! We know that every one of these dogs are headed for a life of love with new forever families!
We are back on the road and going to drive for a few hours until we get tired- we will then stop and sleep in a hotel tonight and finish up the drive tomorrow.
We will be checking in with updates! ~b&b

  1. HURRAY on delivering the dogs! God is smiling!!

Aren't Joanie and Ella wonderful? I am partial as she is my baby sister and Ella my 'diece' (code for dog niece). Sorry you didn't get to meet Dan though.

    Drive safely!!

  2. Yay! Glad you made it without any troubles! Always fun to actually meet someone you only know through a blog. Next time you will have to make some time to go antiquing in NH before coming back. Think of all that room you'd have in the van after dropping off the dogs..... :)

  3. Thank you for the wonderful work you do; I wish everyone would check shelters first for dogs. God bless you and the dogs!
